We offer small training groups of no more than 10 people, allowing people to not only learn effectively in an enjoyable environment but also to benefit from our support in individual learning and development processes.
Our two experienced coaches/trainers accompany the participants during the entire training duration and are also available to the participants outside of the training modules for questions, feedback and supervision.
Continuous practical training and professional feedback are an important part of the training and enable our participants to effectively develop genuine coaching skills and a coaching style that matches their authentic personality.
Knowing one’s own mindset and attitude and being able to change it purposefully are a prerequisite for a good coach or a coaching manager.
Therefore, we further support this process by providing an individual profile-analysis and two individual one-to-one coaching
Upon successful completion of the training you will receive a graduation certificate issued by the Chamber of Commerce “Business Coach IHK.” This independent certification reflects the high quality of our training and offers a qualification recognized in commerce. Alternatively, you also may obtain a certificate of attendance.

What you will learn
Being able to clearly recognize and purposefully develop other people’s potential, as well as being able to successfully facilitate change processes, is what we call genuine Coaching competencies. You will be able to put essential coaching tools to use, you will be well versed in all possible phases of the coaching process, you will have gone through the entire coaching process yourself as part of your own personal development, and you will have led others through the entire coaching process on several occasions.

In our training as a Business Coach IHK you will obtain the necessary tools to purposefully and optimally accompany and support others, as a manager or coach, in their personal and development and other processes. You will learn quickly and effectively to uncover people’s potential and what they might need in order to bring all their potential to life. Included in the thematic priorities are the deliberate use of language, target-oriented questioning and turning problems and concerns into resources, solutions and goals.
Usually, corporate changes are associated with corporate restructuring as well as changes in personnel. This often triggers feelings of uncertainties and demotivation in people affected by these changes. At that point, managers, employees from the personnel department or external business coaches are asked to ensure that the upcoming changes are implemented smoothly and successfully. What lays the foundation for this is a solid knowledge of the dynamics of change processes.
One focus of the training therefore, is the development of a systemic understanding of change processes. This understanding will enable you to adapt to future changes differently, and to encourage others to take a look at the possibilities that unfold to each person and the company as a result of the change process at hand.
The ability to purposefully ask questions, to look closely at things and to clearly state what’s at the heart of the matter, runs like a thread through the entire training. A crucial part of the training and an important prerequisite to adequately encourage others in their own development is to get in touch with your own attitude and own preferences, as well as to be open to work on your personal development. Based on these individual processes you will experience not only the practical aspects of the coaching process, but you will also get a deep understanding of many coaching tools and possible different phases in coaching. You will further learn how to develop and tune into your own motivating and inspiring attitude toward others.
How you will learn
Our training takes six months and consists of 6 training modules, one live testing as well as regular participant group meetings for studying and practicing. Modules 1 through 5 each require an attendance of 2 full days. Our participants are instructed in theoretical fundamentals and practice what they have learned in a variety of practical exercises. Small groups enable our participants to experience actual coaching sessions in every module, allowing them to improve their coaching skills continuously. Module 6 is a personalized module, in which the individual development of our students is further fostered with a personal profile analysis and two individual coaching sessions. In the final stages of the training, participants complete a live testing.

6 modules: 5 modules of 2 days each from 9:00AM – about 6:00PM, 1 individual module (individual profile analysis and 2 individual one-to-one coaching units), 1 Live Testing, study group sessions in between regular modules.
Training for the Business Coach IHK can also be booked as package, incl. 2 open process and development days. (see application)
Upon successful completion of the training you will receive the certificate “Business Coach IHK”. Certification requirements are: participation in all modules, regular participation in the learning exercise groups, successful completion of coaching in a live testing session, as well as the completion of an individual task, per agreement in written or oral form. As an alternative to the IHK certificate, you may receive a certificate of attendance. Prerequisites are: 80% participation in all modules, regular attendance of study Groups as well as the implementation of a live coaching scenario.
